The transformation and rebuilding of our DTM racecar is on it’s way to the end. A lot of work has been done and we have entered the last stage… Thanks to tst sport+technik for building a great racecar! The tension rises…. Stay tuned!
Last Friday and Saturday we had an SLK cup race at the most beautiful and respected circuit in the world, as far as your writer is concerned😉, the Belgian Spa Francorchamps! Max never drove here before and this circuit is very challenging we can assure you. Long straights, top speed corners, 98 meters height difference and the best full speed corner in life, Eau Rouge. Challenging it was but Max did very good, despite his lack of experience on this track. Consistent lap times, improving every session. Great fights on the track and, especially Max, learned a lot. We keep improving and practicing, looking forward to the next race!
Max Verstappen was niet de enige Max om te starten vanaf pole position en de race gisteren te winnen. Ook Max W üst had zijn raceweekend met karten op zijn thuiscircuit, Strijen. Na een aanmoedigende kwalificatie sessie startte Max vanaf pole position. De eerste race was een droge waarin hij liet zien dat hij competitief was en als eerste finishte. De tweede race was een natte race zoals te zien op de foto ‘ s. Aan het einde van de derde race, die een droge race was met wat natte plekken op de baan, kwam Max als eerste over de finish!
Front and rear suspension and drivetrain are pretty much different from a streetlegal car. Many parts are different and made, not to bring comfort but speed, in the corners, straight and provide stability under extreme track conditions.
Slowly the car starts to get the shapes of a racecar again. New parts are mounted, other parts rebuild and replaced. She is getting more desirable every day.
