TOURWAGEN LEGENDEN

The Tourenwagen Legenden Championship is a, from origin, German championship. Not “just because” the original Golden years of DTM Touringcar racing is called The Golden Era! The touringcars driving the Tourenwagen Legenden Championship are split in four groups (1-4). The first class contains racecars from the years 1994-1996, like the Mercedes-Benz C-Class DTM, Opel Calibra DTM, Alfa Romeo 155 V6 DTM. All at about 500Bhp each. The second class contains Evolution models (1990-1993) from BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Opel, Ford Sierra Cosworth and Audi V8. The third class contains racecars that are based on highly standard DTM racing cars, finding their origin in street legal touringcars, adjusted to the DTM regulations 1984-1988. Examples driving in class 3 are the Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.3-16, BMW E30 M3, Fiat Ritmo 130TC, Ford Sierra Cosworth, Volvo 240 Turbo, Opel Kadett GSI, Opel Astra GSI, Rover Vitesse DTM and Ford Mustang 5.0GT.
